This John Adam Mansion house was built during 1749-52 for the Seafield family and now belongs to the town of Banff. Run by the Banff Castle Community Association it has been restored to a high quality recently, winning Highly Commended Award for Conservation 2004.
By keeping the space flexible we are able to offer the venue for a variety of purposes.

We have four perfectly proportioned Georgian rooms which are hired out for a variety of purposes, from Art Exhibitions, Craft Fairs, Community Group AGMs, Cinema Experience, Weddings, Festivals,Workshops, Training, Parties, Social Events, Networking.

The high ceilings give a sense of elegance attributed to another era and contributes to a most unique experience.  The tall Georgian windows, overlooking the extensive lawns to the south, invite in the light where the rooms' flexibility and functionality can be appreciated. 
Designed with Georgian precision and decorated with an original Adam fireplaces and panelling, the rooms comfortably take on whatever role is required.
