This John Adam Mansion house was built during 1749-52 for the Seafield family and now belongs to the town of Banff. Run by the Banff Castle Community Association it has been restored to a high quality recently, winning Highly Commended Award for Conservation 2004. We have four perfectly proportioned Georgian rooms which are hired out for a variety of purposes, from Art Exhibitions, Craft Fairs, Community Group AGMs, Cinema Experience, Weddings, Festivals,Workshops, Training, Parties, Social Events, Networking. The high ceilings give a sense of elegance attributed to another era and contributes to a most unique experience. The tall Georgian windows, overlooking the extensive lawns to the south, invite in the light where the rooms' flexibility and functionality can be appreciated.
